How is being Delivery Boy?

Anyone here work as a chinese or pizza delivery boy? I was thinking of having a job like this for the summer. How is it? How much do you get payed/tipped? What do you do when your waiting for a delivery?How is being Delivery Boy?
An adult friend of mine delivered pizza after her full-time job once, just to help pay off her credit card. She never had any problems with customers. She got min. wage and tips, and paid her card off within a year.



While you're waiting for a delivery you may answer phones, sweep the floor, do dishes, be a prep cook, clean the bathrooms, whatever they need.How is being Delivery Boy?
The job sucks - don't do it unless you can't get a job anywhere else.



You'll get minimum wage + tips, so when business is slow, you don't get much at all - it not at all uncommon to make less than $30 in a night. Remember, you are depending of the kindness of strangers. These are people who can't even pony up 20% in a restaurant where a waiter is filling their water glass and cleaning up after them - they feel your job is worth like a buck or two no matter the size of the order.





Not to mention, you have pay for your own gas and insurance, AND it's murder on your car - all that city driving.How is being Delivery Boy?
Well it sucks is a bunch of **** you have to worry about like get in there in time finding the place unless you have a gps that shouldn't be a problem now if you get rob they take it out your check that's what i dint like that's some bull **** . tips can be good sometimes when you waiting for a delivery you just help around depending on what needs to be done ...Its a job so it is what it is.............
I was never one but just hope that someone will answer the door nude!
