What is the checking in procedure for Chinese General Hospital (for childbirth delivery)?

Does anyone have experience with giving birth at the Chinese Gen Hospital in La Loma? Am a first time soon-to-be-mom %26amp; was just wondering what me %26amp; my hubby should prepare for...

1. Do we need to make a deposit? When (days before labor?) %26amp; how much (is there a certain %)?

2. Do I need to bring a change of clothes and underwear for each day I need to stay while recovering? or just bring some clothes to wear for when I get discharged?

3. What more tips can you share for a first timer in delivering baby at that hospital?

Thanks for takin the time to help! What is the checking in procedure for Chinese General Hospital (for childbirth delivery)?
yes you need to make a deposit if you dont have a healthcard,i think 5k pesos.

yes you need to bring your extra clothes and undergarments .

dont expect too much coz all thruout your labor hours youll be left alone with the nurses and your doctor will be there only when you are ready to deliver the baby.the labor room is big ,full of expectant mother like you, expect the crying and yelling of other mom's in labor.during my first time i thought ill be assisted by my obgyne all thruout my labor like my sisters who gave birth in the province but to my dismay i was there alone by myself coz no relatives allowed.i stayed in a private room and my obgyne holds clinic in chinese where i made all my monthlycheck up.wishing you all the best, may you have a safe delivery..goodluck!
