Why do I suddenly become sleepy when I eat after a heavy night?

Just curious. Last night, I went on a huge pub crawl. I got home and my friends and I stayed awake until 2am. I was extremely awake and not tired at all. When the Chinese delivery man came, I was still drinking. I wanted to stay awake even longer, but after I had eaten the Chinese I became very sleepy and I was no longer in the mood to socialize so I went to bed.Why do I suddenly become sleepy when I eat after a heavy night?
Eating too much signals our brains that its time to sleep. You get sleepy because the body now had all that food to digest and process and make us of. So you body needs you to sleep so it can use all its resources to do its job with all that food.

Also Chinese fast food is typically heavy and you eat too much of it.Why do I suddenly become sleepy when I eat after a heavy night?
I think if you stopped drinking so much you might realize that it has nothing to do with the food you ate and everything to do with the fact that you were staying up late and all of a sudden your body wanted sleep.

Well hot damn. Maybe it was because you had spent nearly the whole night out partying and screwing around, and your body suddenly shut down. Ease up on yourself, bro.
