America doesn't let anyone know about their security operations and I don't think any other country does, al qaeda is less influencial now than ever before, it's a shame the urgent training issues (religious and tactical) haven't been addressed, if wars are won by those that make the fewest mistakes we're dead.
The Pakistanis are butt hurt because the US found out they were hiding Osama and we took him out. They also let the Chinese inspect parts of our advanced helicopter before returning it. If China wants to ally themselves with a nation of backstabbing liars they can fund them because the American people are fed up with them.Your views? Don't really know to be honest, at a guess I'd say its either to deter the US from attacking Al Qaeda inside Pakistan, (unlikely though as they've got what they wanted, revenge for 9/11), its probably more to do with intimidating India.
But like I said I don't really know.

It Doesn't matter, Pakistan has already enough planes to defend its air space !
Now if we could only get them to use them against al Qaida.
