If they charge for delivery I won't tip as much, but if delivery is free if you spend enough, I'll usually give them $2 or $3. Off topic; I hate having to sign a receipt at Salsaritas or Qdoba with the tip line. Its your job to make and hand me my food, you didn't do anything to deserve a tip so stop asking, hahaHow much should you tip a chinese person chinese food delivery coming to 12.06?
Thats real cheap! Was the convenience alone not worth a couple dollars? He drove his car, used his gas to bring you your food! You couldn't just give him $15? Seriously, what is he gonna do with $1.24? Thats not even half a gallon of gas, I drive a jeep and get 15 mpg. Even if you lived close the drive from the restaurant to your house and back is worth more than $1.24, If I were you I wouldn't order from their again....You might get a little "cream of sum yung guy" in your food. How much should you tip a chinese person chinese food delivery coming to 12.06?
I would give him $15 and be done with it.

Did i tip the chinese delivery man right?
price was 13.70 .. i gave him 15 dollars .. is that okay/enough?Did i tip the chinese delivery man right?
Yes. It is proper to tip a delivery by rounding up to the next reasonable number. For 13.70 rounding up to 15 is reasonable, but throwing in another dollar would have made it 15% and that would be quite fair.
I thnk that's enough...15% is a decent tip, and what you gave him is close to the price + a 15% tip (~$15.76).Did i tip the chinese delivery man right?
Perfect darling, just perfect!!!!! You actually deserve a star!!!!
I would have rounded up and given him $16, especially with gas prices being what they are. Still, any amount 10-20% is acceptable.Did i tip the chinese delivery man right?
I would say aim for 15% of the total price (more or less depending on the job), but I always also give at least $2.00.
thats close enough. 10-15% is closer to the mark but they understand when you round up to the nearest fiver. if its too close to the amount you should bump it up btu thats like 9% or something like that so youre ok.
wow, that was a very good tip!! usually tips are like 3 to 5 bucks
Wow he must have been pissed! I would have given him an extra dollar just so that it's one more he counts at the door before you slam it in his face and a second longer before he can get mad enough to give you a dirty look.
yah its ok, he did drive there but it seems about right.
It's more than I would give him.I'd give him $13.75

How much should you tip the chinese food delivery guy?
bill came out to 18.50. he had some wait time because the doorman f'd up. i tipped 4. ??? oh, this is for nyc. the place is about 3 blocks away from me. lemme know. thanks.
-eHow much should you tip the chinese food delivery guy?
for $18.50, maybe a $1 or $2. the less the cost of the chinese food, the more you can tip the deliverer. judging by 3 blocks, i say give the deliverer a dollar or two.How much should you tip the chinese food delivery guy?
The only person that you should ask about how much to tip a waiter would be another waiter/waitress. People like the convenience of having their food delivered. Make sure your waiter knows you appreciate him. I would tip at least 20%. good luck. How much should you tip the chinese food delivery guy?
I round it up to the increment of $5. Since it is $18.50, the next increment woud be $20.
If it was raining/snowing, i would add a dollar on it. That way, on a future delivery, i know they would come quick and not leaving me hanging.
I will say $1.00

Good Chinese food delivery in The Hague?
Does anyone have the number of a good chinese restaurant in the hague that delivers?Good Chinese food delivery in The Hague?
I don't live in Den Haag, and there is a regular user who used to, so hopefully he may see this also and can help.
In the meantime, there are a couple of ways you can find numbers and importantly their customer reviews
The first is a site called IENS which is a review site (in English as well) about restaurants. It has a search function where you can search by cuisine and then tick a box for home delivery. http://www.iens.nl/zoek-een-restaurant/i鈥?/a> here's the result from the search. Click each of them and you can read the customer reviews (English if they have had English reviews and otherwise in Dutch) and a rating fugure.
The problem with the below is that it does not provide a menu or indeed confirm if it delivers to the same area of the Hague that you live in.
Therefore another good option is to order online (pay by cash at the door is still fine though) and there are two sites I know of
http://www.thuisbezorgd.nl/
http://www.justeat.nl/pages/frontpage.as鈥?/a>
Here you fill in your postcode, then it finds all the places that deliver to your area. Then you can filter on the cuisine you want. Each of them has stars beside the name which you can click, and it shows the rating for delivery time and the food itself, and then comments as well.
Hopefully this gives you some ideas in the meantime.

Good Chinese delivery in Tempe, AZ?
Could someone suggest a good chinese delivery place in TempeGood Chinese delivery in Tempe, AZ?
I think your best bet to find the Chinese places in Tempe is to check out an online yellow pages, you can search for the type of Chinese place you want and usually which ones deliver. There are a ton of Chinese restaurants like China Farm Chinese Buffet : %26gt;Good Chinese delivery in Tempe, AZ?
OMG, you have to try Pong Pong's!! I love it. Granted, it can take them a while for delivery, and if you want them to deliver to campus, expect to chase them around for a while since they tend to get lost and don't stay put (seriously, it's happened a couple times. haha). It's definately worth it though!

Why doesn't the chinese delivery place sell babby fried rice?
Exactly!! Everytime I see a stroller with a chinese babby I think about chinese babby takeout. After all those strollers look like those boxes the food always comes in right? You know, with the handle and the nice food in there? Just imagine a stroller-size babby fried rice box. The other day a mother gave me a weird look when I looked at her kid, got out my spoon, started throwing frozen peas and carrots at the kid and said "Hey Chow Mein, you would look a lot cuter in my wok!" What was I supposed to do? My fortune babby told me I'd have a great dinner. I thought that's what the fortune babby meant before I ate it. Right?
PS: I think the mother was concerned that I was trying to seduce the babby with my pick up line. *eyeroll* Why do I always have to tell people that I only want to EAT them, not date them? Why doesn't the chinese delivery place sell babby fried rice?
It's still cheaper to use raccoo...I mean pork. Why doesn't the chinese delivery place sell babby fried rice?
WHAT IS THAT?Why doesn't the chinese delivery place sell babby fried rice?
Because kitty fried rice is easier to come by.

Tipping chinese food delivery?
Im having trouble deciding how much to tip the chinese food delivery guy. We order from them every week. The bill comes out to $15.10, I later found out that they charge $1 on all delivery. Since the bill comes out to $15.10 I give him $18, but the thing is that guy always has a somewhat disappointed look on his face. I order from these people every week, and I dont what to piss them off. So how much is a reasonable tip? Thanks in advance.Tipping chinese food delivery?
That's a 20% tip it's pretty good if they are within a mile to a mile and half to me I normally tip about enough for 1/2 a gallon of gas if it's farther I tip enough for a gallon of gas hope that helps

How much fat and calories are in chinese delivery chicken & broccoli?
we are too lazy to cook tonight but i am on weight watchers. need to know for my diet plan. thanksHow much fat and calories are in chinese delivery chicken %26amp; broccoli?
Here's a good guide:
http://www.cspinet.org/nah/chinese.html
The broccoli won't add much to the calorie count and it's fat-free.
2 points per cup! its the best choice for a WW :) btw the ww books have the points for EVERYTHING chinese...
Not nearly as much as when you eat in the resturant.
Why don't you call the place and ask? Or look it up on the web I guess. But every place is gonna be a little bit different in the way they cook their food. How much fat and calories are in chinese delivery chicken %26amp; broccoli?
It most likely varies from place to place as they prepare it differently and give different portion amounts. Ask the restaurant if they have a nutritional guide.

Whats more unhealthy for the liver: drinking a whole bottle of wine, or eating a big chinese delivery?
more unhealthy for liver:
whole bottle of wine, or chinese delivery (12 chicken wings, bacon burger and fries, ham sandwich, bubble tea coconut flavor)Whats more unhealthy for the liver: drinking a whole bottle of wine, or eating a big chinese delivery?
Neither is bad if you do it once in a great while. It clears out of your system pretty well after a couple days. But if you did it all the time I'd say it would be the wine.
niceWhats more unhealthy for the liver: drinking a whole bottle of wine, or eating a big chinese delivery?
wine is good for you
Drinking a whole bottle of wine!Whats more unhealthy for the liver: drinking a whole bottle of wine, or eating a big chinese delivery?
Dear God I hope it's the latter
I would personally say that the delivery food would be worse. Even though wine is an alcoholic beverage, it at least contains antioxidants, which are good for something; at least the wine would provide some kind of positive, however small it may be, whereas the delivery food does not. Of course, I don't like drunk people, nor do I ever condone reckless consumption of alcohol.

Chinese food and tip for delivery?
I don't like sweet food at all. What type of Chinese food is not sweet at all? Oh and how much would you tip for delivery if the total cost is about $10?Chinese food and tip for delivery?
Most dishes come in sauce that is default, but if you ask they will make it however you want for no charge. Most dishes arnt sweet to begin with in my opinion, my favs are terriake beef, seseme/general tsos (which is very sweet), beef mai fun (add hotsauce), hot+sour broth, fried wontons, shrimp/chicken w brocoli
about tipping
10-20 % of ten dollars is enough money to drive a vehicel 2-4 miles, if your house is further than 2-4 miles round trip the driver loses money and you stiffed him.
It cost drivers 45 cents per mile to operate their cars, so pay them for that (traveling both ways) then tack on a few extra bucks for their time.
On extremely far deliveries the driver will be investing as much as 6 or 7 dollars fo his own resources bringin you your food, regarless of how much your order costs, if you dont pay him back for it and then some, he will not only be wasting his time, but he will be losing money.
If you are unsure, just ask the driver what he thinks is fair, but dont be surprised if the amount is as high as 5-15 dollars. Hes not tryign to screw you over, thats just what it cost on very far off deliveries, and what it woudl cost you if you did it yourself.

what! your lucky dont knock it. i get nowt but my order.
I know its highly aggravating! When you order a Chinese or Indian food delivery and you get a free bottle of wine ?
You're complaining??! They don't send you a free bottle of wine in the States with a Chinese food delivery order. Nor can you order a paid-for bottle of wine with your Chinese delivery order. I don't think it would be legal for them to offer it, most likely, in any state -- they fear underage kids will get alcohol that way, I guess.
(I suppose the next question is: If they DID send a free bottle of wine, would it be any GOOD. Don't know the answer to that one.)
I have never, in over 20 years of enjoying take aways, received a free bottle of wine. You get a wonderful free gift and complain - how ungrateful! Give me the wine if you don't like it! I don't even get a free can of coke!
My friend-Vodka costs/拢x.

How much to tip on Chinese food delivery order of $400 for an event?
is it still 15% minimum? I'm usually a pretty good tipper but 15% minimum (or $60 out of $400) seems a bit too much for having the trays of food delivered especially when I'm giving them a lot of business. Would $50 do?How much to tip on Chinese food delivery order of $400 for an event?
yes, i would tip $50. because all that food, and it's delivery. you know, $50 out of $400 is like 13%.
So really you should give $60 but $50 will fly.
both my hubby n i whom are big tippers agree with you they should be pleased it is a one stop drop off~~~~~enjoy your party by the way they r not charging u a delivery charge are they? How much to tip on Chinese food delivery order of $400 for an event?
trays delivered.........tips are more for the server in a restaurant. A delivery person doesn't get 15%, why? Trust me $20 would be fine.
10% up to 20%. low for making the delivery; higher if the food is hot, well packaged, or other positive detailsHow much to tip on Chinese food delivery order of $400 for an event?
My father actually owns a resturant and sometimes people order lots of food for parties, events in church and houses. They usally tip from 30 - 50 dollars.
maybe 2x the sales tax.
Think about the delivery person having to carry all this out to the car and then carry it in. It is still a ton of work so tip the delivery person 50 and you can carry the food in from the door.
Not only did the person carry your trays out to their car and up to your front door, they also probably helped to prepare them.
The minimum of 15% is the rock bottom you should tip. You should really consider 20%. Unless you really want to save money then you can drive to the restaurant and pick them up yourself.
Yes.

How much should you tip a chinese delivery person?
is it a percentage?
if the delivery total is $13.50 how much should I tip?How much should you tip a chinese delivery person?
I have worked for tips before, and the above poster is right - 10% for delivery. However I would never tip someone in coins. I would just round it up to $2. Maybe $3 or $4 if he got there really fast.
You are pretty racist LOL!!!!!!
Whats any of this got to do with a chinese delivery person?, you tip everyone the same, or what ever you feel like who cares, anything is better than nothing. Give him a quarter or twenty bucks, what ever your little heart desires. How much should you tip a chinese delivery person?
Tips are properly 15-20% of the bill before discounts and taxes, and if you want to be nice, don't tip in change, just round up to the next bill. so for $13.50, the tip would be between $2-$3.00
I live within a few miles of most of the places I order from. I like to tip at least the price for a tank of gas. I like to give at least 2 bucks no matter what my total is.How much should you tip a chinese delivery person?
I take whatever the tax is, and double it. Where I live, the tax would be almost 10%, or 1.35, so I would make it an even 3.00.
10% is usually appropriate. $1.35, or even $1.50 would be nice.
The same as you you tip a white one. I understand that in California about 20% is the norm so about $3 If you live there.
In UK it's about 10/15%
i would give them 5.00, they came to your house and gave you your food so thats the least you could do, thats what i would do
About $1.50
What does Chinese have to do with it?
lol
10% is the norm
$3.00 but then I am generous. I've worked for tips before

I'm on a diet and I'm about to binge on delivery Chinese?
I'm on a 1500 calorie diet and I've been doing well for about a week now. Today I'm stuck at the house and I've just ordered some Chinese food. If I were to eat all of it (General Tso's Chicken, Beef Lo Mein, Wonton Soup, Fried Rice) how bad would it affect my diet? Would one day of binging ruin my diet?
I estimate that the Chinese food will put me around 3000 calories for today.I'm on a diet and I'm about to binge on delivery Chinese?
Why don't you eat just a one scoop of everything? That way you get your fill and don't completely ruin your diet. You'll only go over by a few hundred instead of 1,500 more. Then save the leftovers for lunch/dinner tomorrow and the next.
If you've only been on it for a week, binging now will throw you way off and weaken your resolve. Just hang in there! Remember the reason you are on a diet in the first place. You can do it!I'm on a diet and I'm about to binge on delivery Chinese?

my favorite is Pick Up Stix. Before they were in Phoenix, we'd go there almost everyday when we visited California. My current favorites are House Special Tofu Spicy and Crispy Honey Tofu Spicy.

How much should I tip the Chinese delivery guy?
i think all the answers are given by delivery people. should be 5% if there is a delivery charge, 10% if there is no delivery charge. How much should I tip the Chinese delivery guy?
15 to 20 % of the total bill.
At least 15% of the total (before tax)... more if he is really good or there are extenuating circumstances (he had to drive through pouring rain, you live on the top floor of a building with no elevator, etc)How much should I tip the Chinese delivery guy?
tee hee, thats up 2 you honey! i usually tip my taxi guy 拢1.50.... but if i get the young fit guy then i add a bit more... lol!! there is not really any right or wrong answer. i think its wrong that people should expect tips so hopefully the delivery guy will just be greatful for what you give him
3 dollarsHow much should I tip the Chinese delivery guy?
A thousand YEN
I tip as if i were in the resturant. 10- 20% depending on the service
Really depends on the food you ordered. If you ordered about two or three bags of food then about $2.00. Three or four bags of food then $2.50-$3.00. Just use your good judgement and tip what you would want to be tipped if you were doing the delivery.
$3.50 k ;)
15%
I usually go 20% to delivery people.
a couple of bucks if he doesn't take forever
um maybe a 5 dollar. look, who says you need to be generous. if you can dont pay him anyway. its his job to deliver and he gets paid for it from his boss. save the money and buy another pizza. dont need to be generous all the time. no need for tips.
15 to 20% depending on delivery time!!!
15 - 20%
First off, 15% - 20% is for less than minimum wage earning waitstaff... and even that is questionable in some instances. As for a delivery person, I typically give close to 15% anyway, but keep in mind that they are not taking the drink order, brining the drinks, taking the meal order, bringing the meal, and refilling drinks inbetween. Typicallly the deliverer has multiple orders per run, so it isn't as though they are always making a special run to your home. In fact, I have been on the end of that list and have received my order cold. They don't get a tip and I will not order from them again.

You know the mustard that comes with Chinese delivery food?
what do people put that on?You know the mustard that comes with Chinese delivery food?
Anything you want to put it on, me I like it on sweet and sour pork.
Whatever you want to give a little extra heat and flavor to. I add some to poorly seasoned wonton soup. Also to chow mein, and mix some into duck sauce to dip egg rolls in.You know the mustard that comes with Chinese delivery food?
I like it on eggrolls, crab rangoon, fried wontons...basically anything deep-fried. You can add it to just about any dish for a little kick, though, just like you would add hot-sauce.
I rub it on my feet when they are cold works pretty darn good and when you take your socks off at bedtime WoweeYou know the mustard that comes with Chinese delivery food?
i like to put it on eggrolls and fried rice
I don't like it.
Oooh no, it's great! It's not mustard you donut , it's wasabi and it's an asian horseradish.
You have the soy sauce in a little ramekin . Then you have the pickled ginger. Dip the sushi in that together and dot some wasabi on the sushi then eat, or squirt it in the ramekin as to make the soy spicy. I like it when it tickles and heat your sinuses for a few long seconds, after you realise it wasn't too bad after all. Haha.
That's Japanese sushi, it's called wasabi
In Chinese it's 鑺ヨ荆 pronounced (gai laht) in cantonese.
It's disgusting. The lady said it was spicy and well it wasn't spicy it felt like I was getting poisoned.

How much should I tip the chinese food delivery guy when he gets here?
Is 10% good enough? The order total is $12.10 I don't want to rip anybody off, but I'm not exactly rich either. How much should I tip the chinese food delivery guy when he gets here?

$2.00How much should I tip the chinese food delivery guy when he gets here?
I believe 10% is just right.
10% for takeout, 10-20% for a server depending on level service...
2 bucks
i agree $2-3 dollars
about 2 dollars
Depends on what you got and how much you ordered. Smaller order 2 to 5 big order 5 to 8.
it depends if it is a fancy restaurant give him 5 bucks but if it is not give him 2
3.00 because the guy came all the way to ya house!but only if he is nice.
Most delivery guys we normally tip them 2 to 3 dollars per delivery...This depends on How long they take and his attitude ...
15 to 20%.
He's using his own gas so you don't have to use yours.
15% or $1.815, a buck 82 cents.......... but knowing me i would just give him $3.00 so the next time he will say......... (OH Yes i know where he lives, I'll take it ! ! ! ) OR you can have them spit on your food next time.................
Nothing! as the orders probably wong anyway...and probably your name aint wong.
yeah 10% is good
1000000
If it is under 15 dollar I give $3.00 as a tip. Generally with food delivery you tip like you would at a restruant - 15 to 20 %. I tend to be generous in my tips.
for a tab totaling $12.10, give the guy at least $2.

What can I do with all of those packets of Duck Sauce that I get from the Chinese food delivery?
I don't want them to go to waste, and they keep sending me more. We don't really care for duck, but I'd like to have some good ideas on how to otherwise use them. What can I do with all of those packets of Duck Sauce that I get from the Chinese food delivery?
Hoisin-Based Dipping Sauces
Hoisin’s main claim to fame comes from its being brushed on the Mandarin pancakes served with Peking Duck and Mu Shu Pork, two classic Beijing restaurant dishes.
As a dipping sauce, hoisin-based sauces can be used in place of plum sauce. In fact, plum sauce gets its nickname, “duck sauce” from the fact that westerners initially confused the two, believing plum sauce was served with Peking Duck.
Since hoisin sauce is quite thick, it is frequently thinned with a bit of water and/or sesame oil before serving. Other seasonings may include sugar, garlic, ginger and chili oil.
Serve with:
Chinese pancakes, steamed buns
Meat, particularly chicken and pork (I like to use it as a marinade for chicken thighs – the thighs are placed in a zipped-lock bag with the hoisin sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar and other seasonings, refrigerated and marinated for 2 hours).
Stir-fries, deep-fried food, grilled satays and noodles (Add during cooking or serve at the table)What can I do with all of those packets of Duck Sauce that I get from the Chinese food delivery?

Anybody know of a good Chinese food delivery in Richmond BC?
Need suggestions for good Chinese food in Richmond BC. The place that we have ordered from for the past 15 yrs, which was excellent, has had a health board issue so it would be hard to try them again. They were great because they had no MSG. Any other ideas?Anybody know of a good Chinese food delivery in Richmond BC?
Delivery? No. Pick-up? Yes.
Cantonese:
#9 Restaurant
http://www.richmond9.com/
I highly suggest #29, the #9 special beef brisket soup with thin noodles. #87 is a great deal, the BBQ pork and regular BBQ pig are great. #254, the pork belly is awesome. #281 Chili beef is excellent. Get the buns fried, and order an extra. For the Western food, #346, the #9 club house is one of the best I've had - period. And funny enough, their best soup might actually be #390, the cream of corn with chicken.Anybody know of a good Chinese food delivery in Richmond BC?
Try the Golden Spot Cafe at No 5 Road %26amp; Bridgeport Road.

How much should I tip the Chinese delivery person???
Depends on:
1-The customer service received over the phone when they were taking your order.
2-how far he/she moved from to deliver your food.
3-and the way the delivery person treats you when getting at your home door.
:) Thats my opinion.
Could be $6 or so. :)How much should I tip the Chinese delivery person???
3 to 5 dollars...
It depends on how many yen you have. How much should I tip the Chinese delivery person???
They just deliver........ and they make their wages on it so 20% of the price........... gas costs a lot these days so if the order is messed up or you claim your food is cold , drive yourself to the restaurant and get it to go
At least 3 to 5 dollars, but that depends on the distance from the restaurant to your house. If it's more than 5 blocks then I think the tip should be increased. How much should I tip the Chinese delivery person???
The same amount you tip the pizza delivery person!!!
Also do you expect to call them again anytime soon?
Most home delivery people from different food establishments are accustomed to seeing the good old $2.00 plus change tip.. If it is a $16.59 order and you give $20.00 bill and say "Keep the change" You very good customer. You egg roll come next time chop chop...
Depending on size of order and how you feel.
Remember, they probably paid for their own gas, but they do get paid by the restaurant.

about 2 bucks
I usually just give three dollars.

Do you think delivery chinese food is as good in China, as it is here?
I was just wondering.Do you think delivery chinese food is as good in China, as it is here?
i lived in China for a few years and the chinese food there is completely different (but good) than here. Here in the chinese restaurants its made to taste good for us "Westeners"....it has almost nothing to do with real chinese food. There are a few exceptions of course!
As good? Every person has different tastes. The Chinese food in America is very very different from the food in China. American-Chinese food is a new cuisine, and if Chinese people saw or ate the food, they would insist that it's nothing like Chinese food. The previous answerer is correct that their meat isn't as good, and many times they leave it on the bone, which is annoying.
You as an American (or Canadian) would probably think most of the Chinese food in China is nasty. You would find several dishes that you liked eventually, but the food here is made for different tastes, whereas the Chinese food in North America is made for American/Canadian tastes.Do you think delivery chinese food is as good in China, as it is here?
I would imagine - and hope- that Chinese food in China would be better
Of course not... China is a poor country, they don't have as much as they do in Canada
I don't know who booed my answer but if you ignore that then you are ignoring common sense, and I'm chinese by the way.Do you think delivery chinese food is as good in China, as it is here?
Are you from USA or Canada? If your from either then no, we have better meat then China.
Dream ON
we have 3 Asian restaurants
They each have take out.
The only delivery is the Pizza jerk
No one here knows daily life in China
I say the they have better food raised right in their rural community or right there at home..
Uh, there they just call it "food"
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO the chinese food u eat was made in New York City. Real chinese food doesnt taste like wat we order. Its a proven fact.
Food in China is sooooo different from what we consider Chinese food. Both are extremely good, but they are like comparing apples and oranges.

How much should I tip the Chinese food delivery guy?
I ordered a small cup of soup, 8 pieces of sushi and a large smoothie. The total came to $12.87 with tax and delivery fee. The store is about a mile away, but my car is in the shop and I have trouble walking, otherwise I'd pick it up myself..
Is $4 a sufficient tip or is it too high/low?
Please answer quickly, he'll be here soon :)How much should I tip the Chinese food delivery guy?
$4 dollars is a great amount.he will be happy to deliver to you again.
For food delivery, you should tip 10% of the bill (excl. tax), at least $1 for bills up to $10. Should tip 15%-20% for a difficult delivery.
For your order, I would probably tip $1-2, depending on how quickly the food was delivered. How much should I tip the Chinese food delivery guy?
I feel that your tip was a $1.00 to much considering the size of your bill. If you were sitting at a table in the restaurant, then again depending on the size of the bill depends on what amount I would give. Not just being a driver because he/she are still getting paid by the hour.
I say yes. It'd help contribute to gas he'd have to give for it, and people usually jip those guys of tips. So, $4 bucks is doing great :)How much should I tip the Chinese food delivery guy?
$4 is sufficient!
Sounds like a reasonable tip. P.S. watch your cat.
$3 - 4 is fine.
Try $4-5
That Should Be A Good Amount.

What are some Chinese delivery food places in Evansville Indiana?
All you have to do is look it up on google maps. Just type in Chinese Restaurants near 'Your Adress Here' and then see if they deliver ;)
How much should you tip a Chinese food delivery man in NYC?
I usually order about $15 worth of food at night. Delivery guy use a bicycle, not a car. I also wonder if delivery man also get money from restaurant too.How much should you tip a Chinese food delivery man in NYC?
I tip depending on how far he has to go, and what the weather is like.
Also - I live up three flights of stairs, so I add a little extra for that too.
Round up the change from the bill and then add $2 - $3.
I generally don't tip on percentage of bill because it doesn't always have any relation to the delivery. But if I had a really big order and there were multiple bags, I would probably add another dollar for that.
you order every night, so a couple bucks a night is good enuf. How much should you tip a Chinese food delivery man in NYC?
tip him like you would a pizza guy. If it looks like it took a lot for him to get there, tip him more.
I think about 10% of your total is suitable. 10% of $15 is $1.50 but give more if you want. How much should you tip a Chinese food delivery man in NYC?
.20 cents for each dollar spent.
$2.00
I would tip him 5 dolla's.
However much you want really. xD
I usually tip about 10% of the order unless it's raining or snowing and then I'll throw in an extra dollar as the poor guy has had to go out in the lousy weather because I'm too lazy to cook or go our and he's doing all the work.
I would tip between 3-5 dollars. It's really not your problem if he rides a bike thats his choice.
The only time i tip a little more is in bad weather.
Wait they delivery Chinese?
At least $3. $3 is 20%. You should call the restaurant and ask if there is a delivery charge and if the driver keeps the whole charge.
Two Dollars is customary.
More if he is a regular.
I think a decent amount is 10 - 15%. Therfore tip him $2. Only if it arrives on time and they have sent the right meal!!
it's your money,so do whatever you feel is appropriate.
i'd usually give a buck or two cuz of my low income.
30 dollars
I usually tip the chinese delivery guy about $20. Sometimes more cause i have 6 people in my family and our bill comes up to like $50.word twist

$5.
And if they be evil they are consigned to an awful view of their own guilt and abominations, which doth cause them to shrink from the presence of the Lord into a state of misery and endless torment, from whence they can no more return; therefore they have drunk damnation to their own souls.
26 Therefore, they have drunk out of the cup of the wrath of God, which justice could no more deny unto them than it could deny that Adam should fall because of his partaking of the forbidden fruit; therefore, mercy could have claim on them no more forever.
27 And their torment is as a lake of fire and brimstone, whose flames are unquenchable, and whose smoke ascendeth up forever and ever. Thus hath the Lord commanded me. Amen.Spiritually speaking, how much should I tip the Chinese delivery man?
Tip him how much you think you should, normally a tip is about 10 to 20% of the bill, but since your order isn't that expensive maybe a little higher. Maybe 3 dollars or a five dollar bill, which ever you feel is better.

Don't give him a monetary tip. Give him like a lamp or something. It's always fun to see how they react.

South Africa Pizza and Chinese Food Delivery in South Africa?
I know that most South Africans live in homes thar are heavily guarded and have 11 foot fences and barbed wire, etc, so it will be very hard for the delivery man to reach the doorstep......so when you guys order pizza or Chinese Food, do you just meet them at the gate?
Do you guys have food delivery in South Africa?
Thank youSouth Africa Pizza and Chinese Food Delivery in South Africa?
South Africa has a very good fast food service system in place, you can phone Mr. Delivery and order fast food from different food vendors in your area of residence and have the full order promptly delivered like you find anywhere in the Western world.
Or, you can phone your fast food franchise and ask them to deliver(the majority do).
Where there is a high fence or wall there is normally an intercom system in place that will enable the delivery man to communicate with the home owners, all he needs to do is buzz on the intercom like any other visitor.
Crime is high in South Africa and there are those that have high fences or walls, but these are more common in affluent areas in Johannesburg and other big cities, but this is certainly not the standard in South Africa.
The delivery guy will just ring the bell and if he is legit you let him in or meet him at the gate. The delivery guys are really jacked, better than the US in my opinion and the food is better too. Mr Delivery for example lets you order from a variety of restaurants in your area https://www.mrdelivery.com/homepage.php
Obviously you are only going to open if you have ordered food and by the time they get to the gate (for my house at least but not in most cases) they have already been vetted by security guards and have had their pictures taken and their car license plate number written down. The food will still be hot though :-)
South Africa Pizza and Chinese Food Delivery in South Africa?
yes we do - but the delivery company's elephants tend to tramp over the 11 foot fences so sometimes that can be a problem - so you order delivery and then you pay for the food plus you have to pay to get the fence fixed. So delieverys can be quite expensive in SA - I also choose a delivery / take away outlet according to the transport they use. Horses are ok - but sometimes they leave huge piles of cr*p in the garden - I generally prefer those that deliver by ostrich - much faster and more reliable.
Hey don't worry about the one answer - as with all rumours they get blown out of all proportions just to make them more outragous! No we don't have 11ft fences. Of course you can get pizza or whatever delivered. Don't know where you will be going but they are really jacked at their delivery and can even sometimes do a delivery of all different from various places (eg 1 pizza, 1 chinese etc)South Africa Pizza and Chinese Food Delivery in South Africa?
This is another stupid question. You must not know very much about South Africa at all. Firstly in most towns it is illegal to have a fence higher than around 7 foot, I personally have never seen a house with an 11 foot wall.
When we order pizza the man comes and knocks on our door, we then open the door, let him in our house pay him and then let him out again.
There are delivery services in each town, and these dudes are well versed in all gate and security aspects. They just ring the bell, and the porter or gatekeeper will let them in. Simple ! And if there is no bell, well, then they hoot, or phone to say that they are in front of the house !!
we have delivery but most gates have an intercom which is used to communicate. delivery the ring the intercom and are bussed in in or met at the gate.
I don't have any those, just like many others who live here - so the delivery man just ring the bell - all he has to watch out for is my cat ... trying to get to the pizza first
Ignorance is bliss....

The question "what ar you on" was directed, at least in part, because your question is completely incomprehensible, and because you "staired"....WHAT does that MEAN? How does one "stair" at someone? Step up them?
Yeah, your entire question makes no sense...You staired weirdly at the neighbor, while the delivery guy was giving you your food. That's a little weird...why weren't you looking at the guy you were having a transaction with...then you just smiled and waved at "him"...which him was that?
You don't make sense. That's the problem. Your question looks like it was written by someone who is high on something.
Oh, and WHAT does all the noting of nationality have to do with ANY of this?

How much should I tip this Chinese take-out delivery person?
okay my mom and I are having an argument. I ordered chinese food a total of $17 to be delivered to my home. The weather is fine and the delivery is free.
So, I wanted to tip the guy $3 ... thats about 15%
she is saying give one or two dollars.
what do you think? How much should I tip this Chinese take-out delivery person?
$3.00 would be about right, since it's a little over 15%. He's not getting a delivery charge, and he has to pay for gas.
I tip them at least $5... you can't even pay for gas with a $3 dollar tip %26gt;.%26lt;

I love shrimp spring rolls...much better than egg rolls in my opinion. Next I like wonton soup which is a good dish to split with one other person so you don't fill up too much. Main courses, lemon chicken (with a sauce similar to the orange chicken ball sauce but lemony and yellow in color), singapore noodles (fine noodles with bits of shrimp and pork in a spicy sauce) and good old beef with broccoli. What I love to do is meet with a friend, have a spring roll each, one order of wonton soup and then splitting a combo plate for one....which provides plenty of food for both of us. Delicious....I'm hungry now.....
Mongolian beef and fried wontons.....
Almond Chicken w/ White Rice
Shrimp Toast
Moo Goo Gai Pan w White Rice
Wonton Soup
Crab Rangoons
Shrimp rolls, szechuan wontons, steamed broccoli with garlic sauce, house special fried rice, General Tso's chicken, and another house special; crispy fish.
I always get egg drop soup!! How do you make it?
Cold sesame noodles
Sweet and sour chicken hold the sauce-I use good soy or hoisin mixture.
I love broccoli and egg fried rice, no other veggies.
You've made me hungry!

Also what's in the Chinese vinager dipping sauce?

wo tip is also known as Potstickers. They're chinese dumplings that usually have a meat/vegetable filling. They're panfried, then steamed so there's usually a "crunch" side to them. They're delicious. The vinegar dipping sauce is probably vinegar mixed with soy sauce.I just ordered a Chinese delivery , what is 'grilled who tip' ? Also what was the vinager dipping sauce?
grilled ho tip is when some ghetto ho loses her acrylic nail in the deep fryer.
Vinegar dipping sauce isn't going to conceal that flavor.

What are the healthiest options for pizza/chinese delivery in Houston, TX in the Montrose neighborhood?
When working through lunch or late into the night, what are healthy delivery options for lunch/dinner in Montrose? Any kind of food would be great as long as it's healthy and delivered to my doorstep! I've been thinking about the Take-Out Taxi service but it seems expensive to add $7 to every order, and are we still supposed to tip the driver? What are the healthiest options for pizza/chinese delivery in Houston, TX in the Montrose neighborhood?
Healthy? Pizza? Ditto with Chinese? None are really healthy, let's admit it.What are the healthiest options for pizza/chinese delivery in Houston, TX in the Montrose neighborhood?
That's pretty much an oxymoron. There's so much salt in both pizza and take-out chinese food.

Do you expect your Chinese food delivery guy to be asian?
You know I never really thought about it before but last time a caucasian guy delivered my Chinese food and for some reason I noticed more than I aught to have. So basically, do you expect your Chinese food delivery guy to be Chinese or of Asian decent? Also do you feel differently if the delivery person isn't asian? This might not make sense to anyone( since I couldn't find anythin on google) but it is something I noticed.Do you expect your Chinese food delivery guy to be asian?
So...you're disappointed if your Pizza Hut delivery guy isn't Italian?
Seriously, why does the ethnicity of your delivery guy matter?
One of our local pizza delivery guys is Chinese.
The closest Chinese place that that delivers hired a Mexican delivery guy.
The closest Indian place that delivers hired a caucasian delivery girl. Sometimes the owner will deliver himself and he's not an Indian. He told me he's from a small country next to Nepal and I never learn the country's name.
Personally, I don't care who delivered the food as long I get my foods in a timely fashion. :)Do you expect your Chinese food delivery guy to be asian?
Yes I do. Something about Asian cuisine demands authenticity. I know that only the chef really matters, but I get a sense of comfort when I see that the other employees are of the same heritage as the cuisine, though this effect is void in places where you can see the chefs working in the kitchen.
hahahaha yes, i do expect the chinese delivery dude to be asian. i dont really notice it, cause i expect it. but if it was someone not asian, i would definitely notice, but i don't feel differently if the delivery guy isn't asian. it's coolDo you expect your Chinese food delivery guy to be asian?
I do find it a bit odd that your delivery boy wasnt asian. I am weird about stuff like that. and its like whem youh order take out in the store theres not a caucasian in sight. I find it quite comical actually the more I think about it.
No as most Chinese restaurants are actually not owned by "authentic Chinese", they may look east asian but not necessarily Chinese, I would not expect my pizza to be delivered by an Italian it applies right across the board.
I was surprised whenever this beautiful Chinese girl would deliver to my house, I wanted to ask her if she was dessert.
But now I am married to a beautiful Chinese woman and I get dessert every night.
I think many Chinese restaurants are more family owned, employing relatives and friends.
no i dont, but i expect the staff who cook the food to be asian
yeah sometimes
yes it needs to be some1 of asian descent
most of the Time yes.. And I always laugh

Chinese delivery?????????????
Basically, I'm working at the till in a Chinese takeaway, we delivered some foods, then they rang back later, saying something is missing, but I can 100% sure we didn't, and they may just hide the food and try to get more for free, is there any solution to solve this or what can I say back to them, many thxChinese delivery?????????????
Its partly your negligence for not having them to check every item together with you so you will have to give them that item this time and be more careful next time. I think they will order again if they do not mean to cheat. Best stated that customers have to check and a signature is required upon receipt of the foods will be proof of delivery so this could protect you a little.
Well the customer is always right, even if they had all of their food, you can't begin fighting stuff like that, it will be bad for Business, just give them what they want and learn from this mistake. You can't do much about it now, but in the future always double check. Here's some advice if someone is doing a take out, pack the bag in front of them , show them that everything is in there and check it off their order list. Same thing applies for deliveries, have the delivery person double check the bag in front of the customer before finalizing the transaction. This may slow things down a bit, but its a much more efficient and easy way to deal with this problem.Chinese delivery?????????????
Such things happen once in a while, sometimes because people really want to cheat, and sometimes because of misunderstanding. For small side orders like a couple of egg rolls, it's not surprising customers left them at the bottom of a bag and threw everything away not noticing there's still food there, or one person just decided to take out something first then left it somewhere and forgot about it, and later every one noticed something is missing. As a business you always have to give the customer the benefit of the doubt. But it's a good idea to note down the details of this customer to see if it's going to be recurrent.
When such customers call, you have to apologize no matter what. Then tell the customer whatever is missing, they can come back for the same thing for free, but because the restaurant is busy you will not be able to deliver again. Just take down the name and the food item, the next time they come in or order for takeout they can mention it to the manager and have the food on the house. This way at least the customer should order or eat at the restaurant again.
If it's the same people repeatedly, get manager approval to have them watch you bag it and agree before paying and leaving that each item is in the order. Management will often prefer to lose a dish to a cheat once in a while rather than get a bad name with their client base. If it's random people, tell the manager that it's a repeat problem so he/she can address it with the kitchen staff that's screwing up.Chinese delivery?????????????
EDIT: Give it to them, because it's bad business if you don't.
Learn from this mistake. From this day on, keep a close eye on all the orders and what goes in and goes out.
well theres no answer we can give you. you say ur 100% sure, but how do we know that? if i was actually there, i could help more, but theres just too much uncertainty
Check off each item on a copy of your receipt.google translations
