How much to tip on Chinese food delivery order of $400 for an event?

is it still 15% minimum? I'm usually a pretty good tipper but 15% minimum (or $60 out of $400) seems a bit too much for having the trays of food delivered especially when I'm giving them a lot of business. Would $50 do?How much to tip on Chinese food delivery order of $400 for an event?
yes, i would tip $50. because all that food, and it's delivery. you know, $50 out of $400 is like 13%.

So really you should give $60 but $50 will fly.
both my hubby n i whom are big tippers agree with you they should be pleased it is a one stop drop off~~~~~enjoy your party by the way they r not charging u a delivery charge are they? How much to tip on Chinese food delivery order of $400 for an event?
trays delivered.........tips are more for the server in a restaurant. A delivery person doesn't get 15%, why? Trust me $20 would be fine.
10% up to 20%. low for making the delivery; higher if the food is hot, well packaged, or other positive detailsHow much to tip on Chinese food delivery order of $400 for an event?
My father actually owns a resturant and sometimes people order lots of food for parties, events in church and houses. They usally tip from 30 - 50 dollars.
maybe 2x the sales tax.
Think about the delivery person having to carry all this out to the car and then carry it in. It is still a ton of work so tip the delivery person 50 and you can carry the food in from the door.
Not only did the person carry your trays out to their car and up to your front door, they also probably helped to prepare them.

The minimum of 15% is the rock bottom you should tip. You should really consider 20%. Unless you really want to save money then you can drive to the restaurant and pick them up yourself.
Yes.
