How much should I tip the Chinese delivery person???

Depends on:

1-The customer service received over the phone when they were taking your order.

2-how far he/she moved from to deliver your food.

3-and the way the delivery person treats you when getting at your home door.

They just deliver........ and they make their wages on it so 20% of the price........... gas costs a lot these days so if the order is messed up or you claim your food is cold , drive yourself to the restaurant and get it to go

Most home delivery people from different food establishments are accustomed to seeing the good old $2.00 plus change tip.. If it is a $16.59 order and you give $20.00 bill and say "Keep the change" You very good customer. You egg roll come next time chop chop...

Depending on size of order and how you feel.

Remember, they probably paid for their own gas, but they do get paid by the restaurant.
