How much should I tip the Chinese delivery guy?

i think all the answers are given by delivery people. should be 5% if there is a delivery charge, 10% if there is no delivery charge.How much should I tip the Chinese delivery guy?

tee hee, thats up 2 you honey! i usually tip my taxi guy 拢1.50.... but if i get the young fit guy then i add a bit more... lol!! there is not really any right or wrong answer. i think its wrong that people should expect tips so hopefully the delivery guy will just be greatful for what you give him

Really depends on the food you ordered. If you ordered about two or three bags of food then about $2.00. Three or four bags of food then $2.50-$3.00. Just use your good judgement and tip what you would want to be tipped if you were doing the delivery.

um maybe a 5 dollar. look, who says you need to be generous. if you can dont pay him anyway. its his job to deliver and he gets paid for it from his boss. save the money and buy another pizza. dont need to be generous all the time. no need for tips.

First off, 15% - 20% is for less than minimum wage earning waitstaff... and even that is questionable in some instances. As for a delivery person, I typically give close to 15% anyway, but keep in mind that they are not taking the drink order, brining the drinks, taking the meal order, bringing the meal, and refilling drinks inbetween. Typicallly the deliverer has multiple orders per run, so it isn't as though they are always making a special run to your home. In fact, I have been on the end of that list and have received my order cold. They don't get a tip and I will not order from them again.
