I see you spent all of your time in Manhattan.
I love the hustle and bustle of Manhattan, but I also love the outer boroughs. There's such a diverse mix of people (and neighborhoods). There are restaurants to suit everyone. You can go to the beach (like the Rockaways, in Queens) or to a fishing outpost (like City Island, in the Bronx). The outer boroughs aren't as densely populated as most of Manhattan so you have a better chance of knowing your neighbors.Whats ur favorite thing about New York City?
When we lived there, what I liked best was the fact that you just about every time you'd leave your apartment you'd see something new or interesting - it wasn't always pleasant, of course, but, whatever!
That and the little place around the corner that had the most delicious desserts. Or maybe the place around the corner that had the best take-out lasagna. Or maybe the place around the corner that had the best croissants. Or....
